TERRITORIAL DEVELOPMENT

In the Territorial Development line, we coordinate and promote urban initiatives based on a shared short-, medium-, and long-term vision to drive the development of the Colombian Caribbean region. With the support of our public and private sector allies, we work to generate regional and territorial impact, with a special focus on Barranquilla, Cartagena, and Barú Island.
How do we do it?
We work on a regional and territorial impact dimension in three programs:

Urban development

Social development

Economic development
One of our biggest initiatives is the Mega-Neighborhoods: Bicentenario and Villas de San Pablo, where we create opportunities for the integral wellbeing and development of their residents.
In collaboration with the Ministry of Housing, local mayor’s offices, construction companies, and multiple allies, we aim to transform the first mega-neighborhoods in the Caribbean Region into 15-minute cities. In these cities, residents can not only fulfill their dream of owning their own home but also have easy access to healthcare, education, commerce, transportation, services, and security, among other benefits—creating a sustainable, planned, and replicable territorial model.
