EDUCATION

From our education line, guided by a systemic vision, we lead and coordinate high-impact initiatives and projects that drive educational transformation in the country, working hand in hand with national and international strategic allies.

We promote innovative strategies to improve access and school retention, strengthen educational infrastructure, facilitate the transition to higher education, and develop 21st-century skills and socioemotional competencies in children and adolescents—essential for their well-being and the realization of their life goals.

Together with organizations and entities from the public and private sectors, we have led significant initiatives that promote access to quality education throughout the entire educational journey.

In this way, we have supported the construction of schools and key educational institutions in the country, such as Universidad del Norte, Instituto Experimental del Atlántico, and Fundación Instituto Ecológico Barbacoas in Barú, among others, as well as the promotion of the Santo Domingo School of Arts and Crafts.

Additionally, we generate evidence by fostering research and evaluation processes for the projects we lead, aiming to influence decision-making and the educational agenda in the Caribbean region and across the country.

Proyecto Educación - Atención integral a la Primera Infancia

We promote comprehensive early childhood care to favor the full development of children in the Caribbean, together with Aeiotu and Fundación Tiempo Feliz.

We are part of NiñezYA, an alliance that works to guarantee the rights of children in Colombia, promoting their inclusion in public policies, government programs and sectorial development plans.

Proyecto Educación - A La Escuela Si Voy

We promote school access and permanence in the country, together with the Ministry of Education, Fundación Pies Descalzos and Educate a Child.

We promote access to quality education for children and youth of Baru Island, together with Alianza Educativa.

We trained 3 thousand students from 7 district schools in the city of Barranquilla in software programming, data analysis and the use of artificial intelligence.

We promote research and educational exchange between Colombia and the United States through the financing of 16 climate action projects. This initiative allows students and teachers from both countries to work together on solutions to environmental problems, strengthening learning and cooperation.

We are part of a large multi-stakeholder alliance that will promote the strengthening of the country's educational system, encouraging evidence-based decision making, the financing of innovative educational practices and a shared vision from a territorial perspective.

We generated innovative educational processes to implement them in the classrooms of the Megacolegio I.E.D. Villas de San Pablo (Barranquilla), strengthening students' 21st century competencies, in alliance with United Way.

Proyecto Educación - Escuela Reina Sofia

We finance the education of young Colombian musicians at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofia in Madrid (Spain), in alliance with the Albéniz Foundation.

We promoted a scholarship program for children of members of the Armed Forces, victims of violence in the country, in alliance with the Matamoros Corporation.

Since 2018, we have been promoting leadership training for Colombia's agents of change, who play a fundamental role in driving progress and promoting equality in every corner of the country, in Alliance with Acumen.

Proyecto Educación - Enseña Por Colombia

We develop and strengthen the leadership and learning of children and young people in the Colombian Caribbean region so that they can be active agents in the construction of their future, that of their communities and of the country, in alliance with Enseña Por Colombia.

We promote higher education for young people on the island, strengthening the academic skills of Baru students, through preparation for the Saber 11 tests, access to pre-university and guidance for the construction of their life projects, in alliance with the educational institutions of Baru Island and the Adomi Foundation.

We promote job training through the promotion of the Santo Domingo School of Arts and Crafts, providing technical education and courses in traditional crafts for artisans, with the help of the best teachers, in order to promote the generation of income, employment and improvement of the quality of life of thousands of people.

We promote dynamic and personalized socio-occupational guidance through OsoBot, a virtual assistant in Bogota that guides the future educational and employment decisions of young people, in alliance with the Secretariat of Education of Bogota, the NGO ConsiliumBots and the Center for International Development of Harvard University.
